FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are Optimistic

The Spanish FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are very optimistic about facing the Germans Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in this week's second leg of the Champions League. In the first leg, the Spanish sides got demolished by their German opponents. Now, on the return to the second leg, the Germans will have to keep their pressure up and not give any space to Messi and Ronaldo respectably.
The Spanish sides have been showing a lot optimism lately, but that will not be enough. The task ahead is an uphill battle. FC Barcelona will have to score 5 goals in order to go through, and Real Madrid needs to beat Borussia Dortmund 3-0 to go through the final. Obviously, is not an impossible task for this two teams to overturn things around, history is on their side at least. However, let's face it, the Germans will have their opportunities too and they will try to make the best of them. Also, they're physically fit and fast; they could easily hurt their opponents by playing strong defense and then counterattack.

Optimism is great! However, Barca and Madrid with Messi and Ronaldo respectably will have to take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way. This teams will need to attack and be weary of counterattacks. Despite the deficit the Spanish sides have, I have no doubt that this will be great games to watch. Barca fans will see a better side of Messi, since he's already recovered from injury, and Madridistas will see the leadership of Ronaldo trying to turn the table around. Also, the strength and quickness of the German sides will be a factor which will make this second leg even more spectacular than the previous years!
