Upcoming Stars Should Not Worry About Ronaldo or Messi

Upcoming stars should not worry about becoming the next Cristiano Ronaldo or Leonel Messi.

Here is Why….?

There is no doubt that Ronaldo and Messi have set up the bar way too high for those footballers that seek to follow on their footsteps. However; those aspiring to carry the weigh of superstardom should only worry about their game first and not so much about breaking records and scoring so many goals.

The glory of a team is usually the effort of encouraging coaches and staff that are in charge of creating a competitive squad. But individual players have the responsibility to put that extra effort required to become the next sensation in the world of football.

Hi! Can you let me out so I can go home and watch some games?

The reason behind the success of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is that not only have they played for the most successful clubs in recent history but also among great teammates. Collective effort is what has won championships for great teams but usually it is the goal scorers, the executioner that gets recognized among fans.

But the likes of Neymar, Isco, Eden Hazard and Mario Gotze who fans hope will carry the torch of the beautiful game to the next level should not obsess themselves. They are still in their early twenties and have plenty of time to get better and do amazing things on the pitch. But being worried about records and number of goals should not be their priority.

Fans will always compare stars from different generations with the upcoming ones as they have seen the legacy of those who have come and gone. The arguments of ‘who is or was the best player’ seem to be something that will not stop. It is all for the good of the game though and we enjoyed that way.

It seems unlikely to see a Ronaldo or a Messi anytime soon as they have shattered every record in the books. There is no doubt that upcoming stars will create mind-blowing moments such as great saves, acrobatic goals, magic dribbling among other things. But their main focus should be to connect with teammates so that they can reach their individual goals.

Is Bayern Munich and Barcelona Destined to Meet Again?

Is Bayern Munich and Barcelona destined to face each other in the Champions League?
Well! If they continue destroying their rivals the way they are doing so far, the short answer is yes! They are the strongest teams on earth competing for the same title therefore they’re destined to face each other again.

It is unfreaking believable how good both teams are lately! They are just spectacular to watch! They’re quick; and they make their opposition chase the ball around like chasing shadows. Then, they form an attack when their opponents least expect it.

There is a long way to go for the 2016 UEFA Champions League Final. But we are witnessing the most powerful teams that will end up battling each other when they have both demolished everybody else on the way. It would truly be the game of the titans or a final at any stage of the tournament.

Bayern Munich success and way of playing should not be a surprise. Since Pep Guardiola who was the former coach of the Super Barcelona that conquered every trophy (the sextuple) in a calendar year is now the boss of the German team. But Pep and his current team must lift the CL trophy in order to truly reach ultimate success in Europe but they will have to run over the Catalan giants if they find them on the road.

Barcelona with their fierce trident Messi, Neymar and Suarez on the other hand is trying to repeat what they accomplished last year. Their impressive form on this year’s campaign indicates so far that they are on the right track to do so. Bayern is the only team at the moment that can snatch Champions League title from Barca. But there is still a long way to go; and we have to see how the teams that have been smashed will react in the months to come.

Letter From Aging Soccer Star

Dear soccer fans all over,

I have some words for you, words of an aging star who understands your frustration or probably your anger about my latest performances. I want to remind you that I still love the club and the fans that have given me everything. But also I want to remind you that soccer players are also human beings and we age as well.

Soccer fans I really appreciate all of your support over the years; together we have lived great moments. Do you remember that goal that made you stand up and jump around? I remember that one too. Those great moments of glory will not easily vanish! I cherish them as if they happened yesterday. But reality strikes; and those moments are long gone, as I age they’re just part of a collection of great memories.

Dear soccer fans I do not ask you to forgive me for my recent mistakes on the pitch as I have clearly acknowledged them myself.  Nor I am looking for excuses of the poor results our team has delivered lately. I just want to remind you that things change for all of us too. Things change for us just the same way things change in your family.

My intention on the pitch is always to bring out the best of me but things don’t always work that way. The years take their toll in all of us! And stardom is no guarantee of bringing success as expected. Age does not discriminate and therefore it will take away my precision and finesse. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do against it, but I want to remind you that I keep you in my heart the same way when we enjoyed the juices of victory.

Dear fans I hope you can understand me! Together we have been great, together we have risen, and together we have failed. Someday a new star will take my place it is just part of life, it is part of the beautifulgame.

Post Clasico Football Trolls

Post Clasico football trolls were expected to make their mark all over the internet after Barca's thrashing of Madrid. A wave of reactions from fans all over the world made of fun of Los Blancos after a humiliating defeat on their own turn by their arch rival FC Barcelona.

ZIG ZAG Football picks on Ronaldo's ego because the Portuguese was nowhere to be found in this Clasico! He was outclassed by Neymar and Suarez!

This one is hilarious as it is Adele's hit song Hello! Indicating Florentino Perez made a big mistake by firing the man that gave them the 10th Champion's League title. A sentiment shared by Madridistas across the world.

No words on this one! Make your own judgement! Though it seems that Busquets is giving some pain to Karim Benzema.

Obviously Real Madrid fell from their high horse! They need to go back to do some serious training if they want to continue fighting for La Liga title as they're fell six points behind Barca.

Post clasico trolls were not easy on Madridistas! A tough clasico to swallow for all them anywhere. But the beauty of this sport is that it gives the chance to bounce back and that is something that Los Blancos need to do as soon as possible.

Thoughts of That Amazing Shot

The one time I decided to kick the ball and the goalkeeper was able to put a hand on it to send it off. It was the most amazing shot yet it was not good enough to go inside the net. That was the kind of shot that made the fans stand up and that most thought it was going in.

That shot is unforgettable! Because it could have changed the outcome of the game! It could have changed the results of the month! It could have made so many happy souls that night! It was almost perfect.

It was a magnificent shot but it did not go in. No one will remember a shot no matter how good it was. It’s all about goals; but I cannot stop thinking about if for some reason.

It was a beautiful set up too; it was a long ball that I controlled with the chest, and then I just turned around and kicked it towards the upper 90 volley like style. You should have seen it! It was unbelievable, but it was not good enough. I was truly disappointed. But that is how it goes with this game!

My career is not over and I will continue taking risks on the pitch. I will continue either hitting the net or hitting the crossbar! And I will definitely continue taking amazing shots.

Wipe Some and Swallow the Rest

Wipe some and swallow the rest of your tears Naymar haters because that kid just scored a sensational goal. If I had not seen it I would not believe it! The Brazilian star stamped the book of impossible plays by putting that ball in the net with audacity and creativity.

Barca’s 3 to zero victory over Villarreal was an incredible game but it was Neymar that stole the show. Regardless of what the outcome had been; his goal was fabulous, it was one of those that makes it worthwhile to pay for a ticket at the Camp Nou. There is no doubt that this goal possibly will be the one of the week and it will be shortlisted as one of the best of the season.

Recently Ronaldinho Gaucho the former Brazilian legend and Barcelona superstar revealed that Neymar would be his heir. That’s because Dinho; as he is known to soccer fans, not only was an spectacular scoring machine but also he was a brilliant and creative playmaker that left a deep mark in the recent history of the Blaugrana.

Notably with the absence of Messi on the pitch due to injury Neymar and Luis Suarez are connecting really well in order to keep Barca at the top. But in previous seasons the 23 year old have difficulty finding the net and for that reason was constantly criticized and labeled as an overrated player.

But to the surprise of critics the young Brazilian star is finding his arsenal of magic and we really like it that way. Because if he continues mesmerizing the fans very soon he will also accompany Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to the Ballon d’Or gala as a contender to win the individual award.

For now those who do not like the young lad will have to wipe some and swallow the rest of their tears. Though, he’s not a scoring machine yet, he is handling the pressure of 93 thousand souls really well. And if he continues to have positive results for club and country he’s definitely bound to become one of football’s great.

Messi's Amazing Run Against Bilbao

Messi's phenomenal run against Athletic Bilbao in the 2015 Copa del Rey Final has  shortlisted him for the FIFA Puskas Award 2015. It was an amazing goal from the little genius around the 20th minute of the first half where defenders could no longer contain his magic.

The Messiah of soccer as some aficionados call him has always created fantastic goals or golazos which is the expression for an awesomely amazing goal. And his goal against Athletic Bilbao on that final has all the ingredients to snatch the Puskas Award.

It is simply a Golazo not just another goal on the net. To fans all over it really matters how a goal is created whether it is long range shot that hits the bar and then goes in or is a long ball sent from the sides then converted in a goal by a fantastic header. All this details really count as an spectator; and Messi's exceptional goal will be in the memory of many for years to come.

That day Barca was creating opportunities to score but Athletic Bilbao would not give in. Messi once again made the decision to run with the ball from half field, dribbling four opponents and beating the goalkeeper with a near post goal. That golazo was indeed of quality, spectacular skill and creativity that deserves to be the winner but all of the shortlisted goals are impressive so we'll just have to wait and see what the decision makers come up with.

Cristiano Ronaldo Considering Move to MLS

Cristiano Ronaldo to play in MLS… Really?

Ronaldo's move across the pond any time soon is unlikely but sources have mentioned that the Real Madrid ace is considering MLS in the future. If that were true that would be really good not only for the brand of the Portuguese icon but also for Major League Soccer.

Many former footballers of the elite clubs in Europe have found the MLS a great place to end their careers but none of them are of Ronaldo’s caliber. It is what it is; we have seen great players like David Beckham, Kaka, Pirlo and recently Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard but they are not as gifted and talented as CR7 is.

Similarly, In 2007 David Beckham packed his bags to move to the MLS to play for L.A Galaxy. It was a great move for the Englishman but also for the league. At that time Becks was carrying the torch for the beautiful game as his time was up in Europe but new doors opened for him in the US of A. He has been a great ambassador for the game and MLS keeps on growing at a fast pace.

Cristiano Ronaldo would definitely receive a warm welcome from soccer fans across the U.S., His current team Real Madrid has roughly 450 million fans globally and according to the club’s director of Institutional Relations, Emilio ButragueƱo, most visits to their website come from the US of A. That is an interesting note that the Portuguese should consider for his career and brand.

If he were seriously considering an MLS career move I would volunteer to bring the contract myself to him so he can sign it right away. He is just that good.

One Day Ronaldo and Messi Will Retire

One day things will be normal in football again.

There will be a time when Ronaldo and Messi hang their cleats and no longer step in the pitch to play the beautiful game. That day when these mega stars retire things will be normal again; no more hattricks or braces, and records will stay for a little longer than a few months.

With Ronaldo and Messi on the pitch we have been train to expect what used to be unexpected. As fans; we have time and again enjoyed and witnessed so many goals, great plays, great contribution to the game and so many trophies lifted for this or that by these magnificent athletes.

But things in the pitch will be normal once again. Either one will no longer monopolize the FIFA Ballon d’Or award. Because as long as one of them is still playing none one else would be able to win it. And the 50 plus goals that each one scores on every season will no longer be done for a long while by another footballer.

For that reason the argument of ‘who is the better one’ should stop. Really.  They’re both phenomenal players to watch with their individual styles. There’s no doubt that their competition as footballers gets heated and entangle with the rivalry and legacy of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

They are both different and fantastic players to watch. Whether one has the ability to make defenders look like folding chairs or the other one has a rocket launcher on his foot; they’re impressive with their unique skills and a joy to watch.

As fans whether we like it or not it is hard to see beyond the years when Ronaldo and Messi will be sidelined. And it is hard to find which footballers will be the heirs of these footballers out of this world.
